Sleep Apnea

Obstructive Sleep Apnea -- A partial or complete collapse of the upper airway due to relaxation of the muscles that control the upper airway during sleep.

Central Sleep Apnea -- When breathing periodically stops during sleep due to the brain not sending signals to the respiratory muscles as it should.

  • Depression

  • Excessive daily exhaustion
